The following paper sets out the Bevan Commission’s final advice on the Prudent Health Principles to the Minister for Health and Social Services. The Commission recommends that: the Prudent Health Principles be adopted wholeheartedly across Wales; they underpin the work of services to ensure that all skills and resources are used, both within and outside of the NHS, to achieve the best possible outcomes for people and patients; and, that easily accessible versions of the final Prudent Health Principles are developed to ensure that the public and professionals are able to engage fully.
