Let’s Not Waste Project Manager
Carolyn began her journey with the Commission in January 2023 as project support for the Let’s Not Waste programme. Her dedication and skills earned her a promotion to Project Manager by November 2023.
Her current role involves identifying existing and new waste reduction practices and innovative ideas, engaging with professionals and communities, alongside establishing networks of key individuals in Wales to spark broader changes in health and care systems to promote sustainability within NHS Wales.
Prior to this, Carolyn worked for six years as an International Conference Organiser for Bath University, before changing career direction to work within the childcare field as a Regional Manager covering Mid & West Wales, in a safeguarding role for almost two decades.
