Bevan Senior Fellow
Mandy is a Senior Improvement and Collaboration Manager within Q Lab Cymru, a partnership between Improvement Cymru and Q, with funding from the Health Foundation. Improvement Cymru forms part of Quality, Safety and Improvement function in NHS Wales Executive.
Her professional interests are in systems thinking, design thinking , systems convening in social learning , and senior and executive coaching.
Her Bevan Fellowship focuses on exploring the potential of a Human Learning System approach in public service that embraces complexity, human relationships and continuous learning in the Wales context.
Mandy hopes that through her Bevan Fellowship, she will have opportunity of working collaboratively with others in dynamic networked learning environments, and use multiple-case study research across Wales to explore whether taking a Human Learning Systems approach for place based systems change strengthens the evidence base for this alternative approach to public service in health and care.
