Clinical Influencer
Mr Richard Egan, Consultant Endocrine and General Surgeon, Swansea Bay University Health Board
Richard Egan is a consultant endocrine and general surgeon based in Swansea Bay, and working as part of the South Wales regional endocrine service. In addition, he is the national clinical lead for the general surgery clinical implementation network, within the NHS Executive. He is currently working with the Bevan Commission as part of their Clinical Influencers Programme and is the current training programme director for higher general surgery, within Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW).
