Aims:
Aim 1 for Inguinal hernia repair (IHR) project:
• To convert as many IHR from general anesthesia (GA) to local anesthesia (LA) as clinically
appropriate and in line with the wishes of the patient.
Aim 2 for reusable gown project:
• To replace single-use disposable surgical gowns with reusable surgical gowns in the Imperial
Surgical Innovation Centre
