The Passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
The Bevan Commission are deeply saddened by the news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. Her Majesty the Queen has devoted her life to serving our country, guiding and representing us all with great pride and dignity.
In July, the Queen awarded the George Cross to the Welsh NHS, on behalf of all staff, in recognition of their courage, compassion and dedication, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this difficult time and we welcome and support our new King, Charles III.
